privacy policy

Lodin is committed to respecting the privacy of its online users (hereinafter "you") and to ensuring the best level of protection in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter "GDPR") and the applicable national law.

By choosing our services, and in order to be able to provide them to you, you have communicated your personal data to us. This data will be processed, in an automated and confidential manner, while respecting the legal requirements at national and international level.

This processing includes all operations carried out on the basis of personal data of a natural person, such as collection, recording, modification, deletion, consultation, communication, use, etc.

This policy informs you about:

  • The personal data we collect about you and the reasons for this collection.
  • How your personal data is used.
  • Your rights over your personal data and how to exercise them.

1- Who is responsible for the use of your data in the context of your relationship with our services?

The Data Controller of your personal data described in this policy is Lodin, whose registered office is located at 140Bis Rue de Rennes, 75006 Paris. Any questions or requests concerning the processing of your data can be addressed to the following email address: support@lodinpay.com.

2 - Why do we collect your personal data and on what grounds?

We collect personal data about you for different reasons.

Lodin collects and uses your personal data to operate effectively and provide you with the best experiences with its services.

Please also note that we can only collect and use your personal data if such use is based on one of the legal bases determined by the GDPR (for example, your consent or the performance of a contract concluded with us).

This table lists precisely the purposes for which Lodin uses your personal data, the corresponding legal basis and the type of personal data collected and/or processed...

3 - With whom do we share your personal data?

We never share your personal data without your express consent. For example, if you wish to share your personal data with a third-party service partner of Lodin, an authorization window will appear and the transfer can only be made with your authorization.

4 - Do we use subcontractors?

In the course of our activities, we may use partners as subcontractors for some of the processing listed above. Of course, we always do this in order to guarantee optimal protection of your data: the subcontracting partners who host data are not authorized to access your personal data.

We ensure that all our partners comply with the obligations of the GDPR. Our partners, located within the European Union, sign standard clauses for the protection of personal data or comply with binding rules prohibiting them, among other things, from accessing your personal data.

5- Your rights

You have the right to access and correct your personal data free of charge. You can also exercise your right to erasure, portability, to be forgotten or to object under the same conditions.

To exercise these rights, simply send us an email to support@lodinpay.com indicating your name(s) and first name(s) and in the subject line indicate which right you wish to exercise. Your written request must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of your identity document (valid identity card or passport). The request must also specify the address to which we should send the response. We will make every effort to ensure that the requested actions are taken as soon as possible and at the latest within 45 days.

6- How long do we keep your personal data?

Lodin implements measures to ensure the security of personal data, such as access control, intrusion and data protection. User data is stored in the main system for the entire duration of the contractual relationship, which ends under the conditions set out in Article 20 "Termination and cancellation" - to which is added a maximum backup period of 6 months (except regulatory exception).
